Every word you will meet while learning AI, in easy language. Read them here, or hear them used in the Practice Chat.
- AI
- A computer helper you can talk to. It reads your words and writes back.ChatGPT and Claude are two well-known AIs.
- Chatbot
- An AI you talk to in a chat, like texting. You write, it replies.
- AI helper
- Our friendly name for the AI in a chat. It helps with ideas, words, and plans.
- Prompt
- The message you send to an AI. Your question or your ask.Make me a plan for tomorrow is a prompt.
- Reply
- The AI's answer to your message.
- AI mistake
- When AI says something wrong but sounds sure. It happens. You can say: I think that is wrong.Grown-ups call this a hallucination.
- Practice chat
- A pretend AI chat that is safe to try. Every reply is written ahead of time, so nothing surprising can happen.AbleMakers practice chats work this way.
- Image generator
- An AI that paints pictures from your words. You describe, it draws.
- Voice assistant
- An AI you talk to out loud, like Siri or Alexa. It listens and speaks back.
- Account
- Your own space in an app, opened with an email and a password. A person you trust helps set one up.
- Password
- The secret words that open your account. Only you and a person you trust know it. An AI never needs it.
- Private information
- Things that stay with people you trust: your address, phone number, passwords, and money details.
- Scam
- A trick to take your money or secrets. Trick signs: hurry up, keep it secret, send money, give your password.
- Robot helper
- An AI you teach with your own words: rules to remember and a job to repeat. No code needed.
