Terms, in plain words

What AbleMakers is
AbleMakers is a free learning project that teaches people with disabilities how to use AI tools to make and sell things. It is run by an independent founder and is working toward becoming a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
Gifts and sponsorships
Donations and monthly sponsorships are voluntary gifts that fund the mission. Until our nonprofit status is granted, they are not tax-deductible. Monthly sponsorships can be canceled anytime through the link in your Stripe receipt or by emailing us. If a payment goes wrong, email hello@ablemakers.org and we'll make it right, including refunds where appropriate.
Using the site
The lessons and quests are provided as-is, with love but without warranties. They are educational content, not medical, legal, or financial advice. Business results from any quest depend on many things we can't control.
Age
Accounts, email signup, and payments are for people 18 and older. Learners under 18 participate with a parent or guardian.
The legal basics
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state where AbleMakers is organized. To the extent permitted by law, AbleMakers' total liability for any claim related to the site or a gift is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months. If some part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies. We may update these terms as the project grows and will change the date above when we do.
