A letter from the founder

Hi, I'm Mo. I'm a software engineer.

For years I've watched AI turn ordinary people into one-person companies: artists, shop owners, storytellers. The secret handshakes of my trade became tools anyone could pick up. Almost anyone.

Because while that door swung open for the rest of us, people with Down syndrome and other disabilities were still being offered the same old thing: programs that babysit instead of build. Society decided what they couldn't do without ever showing them what they could.

I refuse to accept that. Making things is how human beings earn pride, and pride is not a luxury. It is a birthright.

So AbleMakers is me giving away every trade secret I have, rebuilt into small, patient, joyful quests. Real projects. Real shops. Real work with their name on it. Free for every learner, forever, funded by people who believe what I believe.

One day this will be retreats and workshops where we build side by side. Today it starts with one maker finishing one quest and holding up something real.

If you've ever loved someone the world underestimated, you already know why this matters. Build it with us.

Love, Mo
