Staying safe
When should I ask a person instead of AI?
AI is wonderful for ideas, words, plans, and practice. Some questions belong with people who love you. Knowing which is which is the single most important AI skill.
The steps
- Ask yourself: is this about medicine, money, or big feelings?
- If yes: bring it to a person you trust, not the AI.
- If no: AI is a great first stop for ideas and words.
- Not sure? Treat it as a people question. Asking a person is never wrong.
Stay safe
- AI can explain medical words, but people decide medical things.
- Anything about paying, sending, or signing goes through a trusted person.

- Is AI safe for adults with intellectual disabilities?
- With the right boundaries, yes. The key lesson: AI for ideas and words, trusted people for medicine, money, and big feelings. AbleMakers teaches that boundary as its own quest.
